Creating a Subculture of Ethical Business Practices

The International Economic Justice League is a team of dedicated and passionate individuals who strive to develop a corrupt-free system of commerce, using education and mentoring, in all countries desiring economic justice for their citizens. Students and alumni from around the world are spearheading the IEJL to accomplish the objective of enculturating young leaders into a system of ethical commerce.

Message from the Chairman

Henry David Thoreau said, “Live your beliefs and you can turn the world around.” I believe we can eliminate corruption in governments and businesses. The most effective way to eliminate corruption is to live within a culture of ethical behaviors. Perhaps this will not be achieved overnight, but, if we plant the seeds today, we will reap the benefits of a corrupt-free society. These benefits yield an improved quality of life for all, including increased economic wealth, stable governments, a foundation of trust in society, and increased health. The International Economic Justice League is the organization planting the seeds of change. We hope you will support our efforts.

In many companies and parts of government, corruption and ethical lapses have become a way of life. It has become a culture. It is a culture which transcends all economic classes, religions, races, and social groups. Culture is defined as the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group. It is the characteristic features of everyday existence shared by people in a place or time. The culture of corruption is infecting the United States.

The team at IEJL has embarked upon a mission to create a subculture of ethical business practices. In our program, future leaders serve as the catalyst for change. They will be immersed in formal and informal education programs which assure their enculturation into ethical business practices. Our continued, unique community building ensures ethical behavior is top of mind with these new leaders.

Having trained our future leaders, we identify businesses and government agencies who have committed to a system of ethical commerce. These employers will have identified the value of hiring these young professionals and the benefits they provide to both their organizations and customers.

As an employer, your stakeholders will realize significant benefits as you employ our new leaders. Your organization will receive substantial recognition in the media when you show your support of ethical commerce.
Please help us prevent ethical lapses. Your support will enable us to cultivate the change that will lead to a better world.

Thank you for your support,

James Valle, Chairman International Economic Justice League, Inc.
